About yourself

Kelvin Garner

Describe yourself in a few words
Ambitious & Dedicated

img_0902How did you get into health and fitness?
I got into personal fitness about 10 years ago. I was an overweight child, and it started to escalate, so I began training at a young age and just went through the process.

What areas do you specialise in?
Body composition

Why do you love your job?
A few reasons really, but it’s mainly about helping people. I like seeing people achieve things which they may or may not think they’re capable of. Overall, I’d say changing lives and seeing that progression within people is what I love.

What’s your motto?
Don’t underestimate yourself, dream big

About yourself

What’s your biggest tip for anyone new to working out?
Plan consistency

What’s your top exercise tip?
Understand movement

img_0903What’s your favourite exercise?
I’d say legs. Legs is always good

What are your 3 essential gym songs?
Me and music don’t mix, just ask the guys around here – they’ll tell you!

What annoys you in the gym?
Sweat. Sweat in general, especially on equipment. Just wipe it down!

What’s usually in your fridge?
Pura meals. There’s usually not much else in there!

What’s your best nutrition tip?
I’d say the same as my training tip. It’s all about creating consistency. With food you should make a structure and make it your priority.

img_0898xHow did you find out about Pura meal plans?
I trained Gavin years ago, and went through the process with him about starting it up.

Why would you recommend Pura to your clients?
They deliver food, fresh every day, straight to my house – I can’t complain!

What kind of results have you seen since joining Pura?
I did my full body building preparation with Pura, earlier last year. The food was weighed and any changes I needed were made and since then I’ve just continued on with the meal plans after that.

Describe Pura in 3 words
Fresh, tasty and reliable.
